What does your scores qual you for and where do you want to go since you're going active???? That's where I'd start.

I am 25U right now and as soon as I get back from Iraq I am reclassing. I am leaning toward combat engineer.

I tried to do that and I ended up with a job that I hate. So, next I am picking an MOS that looks like something I will enjoy. During my time in the army, I am going to get my BA degree and leadership experience and use that to get my next job.

But, one job that transfers over is 25b. Computer dork. I work with them and the job would be good for someone that enjoys working on computers and networks and that kind of stuff.

To be on the helicopter flight crew, I am pretty sure you have to be the mechanic. From my understanding, you are assigned to a bird and if it flies, you go with it. I could be totally wrong though. Go to www.military.com and go to the message boards on there, there is probably some information.

Damn good scores, mine were high but not quiet that high. You could do any job that you want that is available with those scores. As long as you have over a 110 GT score, you are good to go.

I don't know if I would want to be a tanker (19k). I haven't worked with them but some of my sgt's have. Would be kind of fun but you would never dismount.

Infantry would probably be fun. I don't get along to well with some of the infantry guys though. Some of them seem to think they are better than everyone just because they are infantry. not all though.
