Need a proof reader for an anymouse to my base CO

I have some questions on the new DoD firearms regs so I drafted an anymouse letter to my base CO. I will submit this to the base paper (hopefully it will be addressed) so I need a proof reader to make sure I am clear and don't sound like a complete fool. Thanks in advance.

Send it over, I'll have a gander.

It will guarantee that they won't recognise it's from you. I speak English, not American. (plural of memorandum is memoranda, the ballistic stuff you wear is spelled 'armour' etc...)

I recommend you keep it extremely Anonymous. If my experience writing course reviews at military schools has taught me anything; its that if you write something controversial, they WILL try to find who wrote it. I might even go as far as to make your letter out of cut up magazines and news papers.

But, if you are intent on submitting it i will review it for you, just PM me. No offense, but you look like you might need a reviewer. you spelled Anonymous "Any_Mouse"

Anymouse is a Naval tradition. Scuttlebutt is that some genius misspelled it on an official form and everyone has followed suit out of humor since.

Didn't they pass a bill that made it so the only restrictions a base CO can make is on Privately owned firearms stored on base? No more crazy regulations and questionnaires.

When you have the final letter, don't use Word to compose it, it can be traced back to you. Don't use a laser printer to print it, they leave marks as good as fingerprints. If you are going to email it I recommend make a new email account from a remote computer like a library or apple store, and use ctunnel.com before doing anything. And then NEVER use that account again.

Just started thinking about it and its frickin' ridiculous that I have to take these steps just to figure a simple question out. >.<

The much simpler way to do it is to ask a "buddy"* to write it and send it in for you.
