Very sad that this is becoming such a problem. Our soldiers deserve so much bettter then to end up this way!

I read about this in the Army times it is a growing issue in the military as a whole over the past few years. I can quote that but I remember reading it.

I had a friend go through the same thing over a deployment and I'm glad he came back fine, for the most part. He is now deployed again but says he is doing just fine.

Thankfully my NG unit does a really good job of keeping the families involved and preparing soldiers for the deployment coming up. These Dear John cases are a norm in the military, some of the best NCOs I know have been through some rough times because of the military. But they remain strong and good leaders.

I would give me life for any of them.
