Our troops to march in May Day parade?

How do you feel about our troops marching in the former Soviet Unions May Day parade?

      WTF?

I can either be outraged by what I perceive as a political blunder in the extreme, or I can look upon this as a victory; that we won the cold war and now occupy our "former" enemy's most sacred tradition.

If you look at the AP press report British, French, along with American troops are taking part to commemorate the Allied victory against the Axis powers.

I thought Stalin was disgraced many years ago? I guess he's back in vogue again.

We shouldn't be marching in their stupid Commie May Day parade, I don't care what the Euros do, but we shouldn't be there unless we're invading the place.

Yes, but one can see something a bit more disturbing in the act. We have never participated in their parade, we now have a government which seems to emulate socialist ideals, and now the current POTUS decides to include our troops in their parade, why?
