Marines needed this sunday!!!

I need 3 or 4 Marines who are willing to post and retrive the colors at a memorial service for a fallen Marine. This Marine was KIA in 2006 or 2007 and his mother is holding a remeberance in his honor at a church in Chino Hills, CA this sunday.

Before anyone tries to be helpful and refer me to some office on Camp Pendelton or a local reserve unit know that this fallen Marines mother has called EVERYONE looking for help and has come up empty handed. I double tapped and called quite a few people and also came up empty.

This Marines mother is at such a loss she came to my office and asked if I could help.

If there isnt a single Marine out there that is willing to spend a couple hours to honor a fallen fellow Marine, know that I will be more than happy to cover down to honor a fellow service member, but I know there has got to be a Marine or three here on Calguns that wont put me in the position of having to explain why there are US Army Soldiers posting the colors at a Memorial for a fallen Marine.

FWIW I'd do it if It were closer.Although I'm pretty sure I wouldn't fit in any of My uniforms anymore.
The guys who performed the Honor Guard for My Wifes Grandfather were pretty old and there were Soldiers,Sailors And Marines there performing a needed service.My Wifes Grandfather was a Soldier In WWII.

Hey, if it helps, I have a flight award on Southwest I will donate one to anyone willing to go and can get there on a Southwest flight.

You need to call Southwest and ask them if there are flights that a "standard award" will get them seats on the flights.

If you can get there PM me and we can work out the details.
