Interest in Mil. USPSA type matches?

I work at Edson range on Camp endelton and I'd like to try and put together some USPSA type 2 or 3 gun matches on base so milpers could check out weapons from the armory and shoot to improve combat skills
I think the combat arms MOSs need improved training and this could possibly be a way to expose some senior people to some more dynamic options for training

If there are any senior officers or enlisted on here your help would be greatly appreciated

You may already know this but just in case, the Quantico WTB has successfully launched 3-gun matches using their HRP range. Sgt. Scott Weidling helped start the effort there so he's aware of much of the logistics and officer sponsorship for the effort.
If you don't have any contacts out there, I'll probably see him in November and pass him your contact information. Please PM me if you're interested.

The rod and gun club use to have night shoots and three gun matches but im not sure what happened with that. They do have a pistol league every now and then and i always thought it would be cool if they had a service rifle coemption.

I'm not from the area but isn't Gridley close to you? They run some competitive shoots there, most notably IDPA with the North Valley Shooters Association.

Sorry for the thread hijack, OP.
