This is long overdue on my part..

I hope this is an OK place for me to post this.

Boys, I miss you and deal with the demons of choosing a different route in life daily. REST IN PEACE BROTHERS!

    Dewey,

That time we went to the Army/ Navy game in Philly, I asked you to drive not because I was tired but because I was scared of that f****g snowstorm we were in. You drove that SUV like a machine!

You were the type of person WP was built for.

    Jon,

You were the best team leader a plebe could ask for. I am thankful for every lesson you gave me. I saw that tattoo one of your soldiers put on his leg in your memory. It does not surprise me how much your they miss you, I know I do. You were a true patriot.

    Ben,

I can almost say I was never in my life scared of a man. You are the reason I throw that "almost" in there . You are one of the baddest mofos I have encountered in my life. Only you could lead the rugby team, get stellar grades in the hardest courses, and beat me in chess and poker in the same night. That time I won $2 in chess was pure luck, I only made you pay up because I could not believe it myself We will have a rematch one day.

    Tommy,

I cried for the first time in years when I heard the news. I still cannot believe you are gone. I know I would not have made my first year there without you. That time we hung out at Newark airport having beers is still one of the fondest memories I have. I swear the plane ride back to SF felt like seconds (I was barely conscious).

Remember when you took us out on that FTX to get better at land nav? That is by far the coldest night I have ever spent in my life! You are my hero man and I think about you everyday. I strive to be the type of dude you were.

    GO HOGS H-4

Although I served, I am not amongst the Band of Brothers who have served. That special bond cannot be replaced, but we carry on in their memory.

RIP warriors and Patriots, your sacrifice is not forgotten.
