    A Brother has passed...

At 0300 this morning my friend and fellow Corpsman, HM2 Douglas Augustson, died riding his motorcycle in Los Angeles. Doug and I have been friends for the past 6 years. We were roommates at several Navy schools, he was one of my Corpsmen at 4TH LAR and at 2D LAR on our last Iraq deployment and I was privileged to frock him to Second Class Petty Officer while in country. He is survived by his wife and his mother.

Doug, you will never be forgotten. I value you as a friend and as a Corpsman. Your family WILL be taken care of. Fair Winds and Following Seas brother...

If you haven't seen it with your own eyes,
or heard it with your own ears,
don't make it up with your small mind,
or spread it with your big mouth.
