Anyone know a TM/FM showing acceptable accuracy for an M4?

Been trying to dig up an actual document for what is considered "acceptable for government service" for an M4 rolling off the factory line, and I'm more than just a little skeptical to hear some folks claiming an M4A1 rolling off the line at FN is a 1-2 MOA rifle when previous standards for service rifles was more in the realm of 3-5 MOA.

I thought it was 4MOA, and I suspect you are only going to find documentation for armorer tolerances, and not field testing results expected from such tolerances.

How it would work if one couldn't hit the broad side of a barn would be the Armorer would check the machine specs and measurements for +/- and that would be that. He's not going to test fire it for accuracy.
Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.

I am sure the accuracy depends on the quality of the ammo.
