My son is stationed at 29 Palms. He just made Lance Corporal. I am so proud him. For some reason when I went there last month I just want to shake everyones' hand. I wish all Marines the very best. God Bless you.

One thing I do admire as a MARINE is the brotherhood MARINES share. Even after being off active duty... HOORAHHHH!

Cool, I used to take stuff to hazmat all the time. HQBN @ the stumps is something outta this world. LOL. A lot of outta control characters waiting for the weekend to drive down to LA and join the real world.

I've got more than my fair share of time in the stumps! I do have to say that I love the range out here. $50 a year for 24/7 access. In North Carolina I was paying $8 per hour. If I took my son, $16 per hour. Even with all the open BLM land where it is legal to shoot, I support the local range

                      Remember the Sand Monster?

                      Lima 3/7 from '92 to '95...
Sgt's Course some time in the later 90's.

I've always said that the hardest part about running the ridge was just getting up to the darn thing.

I was one of those grunts that kept going to get coffee at the C&E school cuz they had chicks there

400 series ranges were awesome! Best place for combined arms and fire/maneuver

I was in the stumps for about 6 months for air support operations operators course. Chow hall was great. Our barracks kicked ***. That's about it.

Did you know Das or Gholston. They're both retired Marines and got civilian jobs there.

Never stationed at 29 Palms but spent many CAXs there and the Sergeant's Course.
