Today my brother made Master Chief. He will serve his last 3.5 years out of a total of 30 in Alameda Ca. Once he arrives next month I will open his eyes to CalGuns.net and he may come across this thread. So Steve if you do read this I am proud of you and thank you for your service. I look forward to spending some "Chiefs hours" with you at the range.

Huge accomplishment, congratulations to your brother. So many talented service members and so few E-9 slots, really requires the best of the best. I recall my Sergeants Major being larger than life to us lower enlisted folk.
