    Adding dependa’s to VA rating

Learn how to add a dependent spouse, child, or parent to your disability, pension, or Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) benefits. And if you’ve had a life change, find out how to update your dependent information.

Why the hell didn't anyone tell me this at the VA when I applied and received my ratings??

Thanks for the heads up, this is literally thousands I have not received over the past 7 years!

If you don't ask, the VA won't tell. (SMH)

Wife W/1 child, plus I have 3 children more is a nice chunk of change with my rating. about $300 or so.

Now, when the kids get into college (free tuition and fee's in any CA university, zero rating or higher) it's about another $80-$260 (30%-100%)or so bump for that one dependent. Have two kids (adults 18-23) in college, X2. I figured I'm keeping it, because I'm sure i'll be subsidizing something else.
