Anyone have info on Junior programs for 12 yr old?

I'm in AZ but Calgunners seem to know a lot more about stuff so I go here for help. My son is turning 12 soon. There is the Air Force yoth cadet program here that starts at 12 but he wants to do something Army related. I can;t find anything other than JROTC that starts at high school.

I'm looking for something like this but Army.

I was that age when i started doing the Civil Air Patrol's Cadet Program. Alot of great opportunities for youth as well as alot of leadership development. I ended up getting to go to Camp SLO and getting Marksmen ship training one summer. I would'nt knock it for being Air Force, almost all the kids i did the program with who actually went MIL did Army or Marines. Depending how far you go you can Enlist as an E3 based on your work in the program.
