PS, today was my brothers ceremony.
My pop flew in ftom Billings to be there.
I am sure, as a retired Sr. Chief he is proud beyond words.
Frankly I feel the same about the both of them.
And as my dad reminds me, my mom is a veteran too and am equally proud of her.

Funny, I never, to this day, have viewed my mom as anything other than mom.

Sticking with the Ruger Blackhawk blued in a 7.5" and a bit of refinish/tune/engraved with name, rank, and date achieved.
Going to get the bullion shoulder straps as suggested too - great idea btw.
