Hang in there, the MEB process is a head ache and a long process. The PEBLO is your best friend, they can help move things along fairly quick.

My PEBLO is an idiot. I did this backwards being a traditional guardsman. Got off Title 10 then filed VA claim. Ended up 100% + SMC-S. Now im being Med Boarded.

Its irritating having to do all these appointments again. Everything is a static rating except the 100%, PTSD, which i doubt is going down with a recent suicide attempt.

I just want it over so i can smoke what im going to grow. Haha

The VA awarded me 100% over 1.5 years ago. I turned the award letters over to my Med folks to get the Med Board started for Med Retirement. I have emails going back to Dec 17, 2014 with the E-7 who handles the paperwork. I've been calling every 4 months or so inquiring about the status. The response has always been "they are working on it".

Fast forward to today. I notified my NCOIC that my enlistment is expiring in June and to see if he could get a status update from Medical. Well guess the frick what??? Medical never even started the damn paperwork.

Letting the MEB and VA handle it. I met with the guy at the VA to get my list of contentions, but im not adding anything other than whats already rated.

Since my current ratings are 2 years or older the MEB needs to know how my potentially disqualifying condition affects me today, not back in 2013, when I first applied for VA Compensation.

The other rated conditions will also be re-evaluated to see how they are affecting me at present day even though they are static ratings.

The disqualying MEB condition is PTSD and im rated 100% schedular. The other conditions have a combined total of 93% rounded down to 90% with VA math. When all is said and done im hoping to be 100% DOD PDRL and VA 100% P&T.
