Just wanted to wish all my fellow service members, both active and former, a very Merry Christmas wherever you are in the world. I'm very thankful to have been home for the first four Christmas's of my career, but this time it's my turn to be away. Thank you to all who who have served and continue to serve.

Every single Xmas I had while I was in was spent overseas. Well at least none of them were out to sea or in combat. Being how spoiled and not good people my relatives are I actually preferred some of my holiday seasons over there or were not much different.

I usually didn't have duty or a watch but usually didn't care if I did I'd rather someone that had family got to go on leave or something. My dad spent a Xmas in Nam.

Boot camp holidays suck too. I spent my bday and Thanksgiving there but graduated just in time for Xmas. New Years I was in transit to A school though.
