Anyone that has had trouble purchasing ammo YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!!

    Rhode v. Bonta Oral Arguments
The State is now arguing that the case should not move forward because CRPA does not have legal ?standing? to challenge the law because its members have not themselves encountered these problems. Which we all know is a lie. If you, or anyone you know, that have had problems buying ammo, please contact kmoros@michellawyers.com

I haven't bought any ammo since the law changed - does that count?

I have not had any technical problems buying ammo; never been denied.

My problem is that I have to prove I am a CA resident and pay money to say so.

The other issue is that I cannot order ammo and have it delivered to my door. I have to pay a FFL a fee to release what is mine.

I've got a story, but is this even still needed? It seems like this was timing dependent.
Would like to buy 357 Maximum ammo.

So I showed up at Sportsmans in Rocklin in late December and they would not sell me ammo because I didn't have my passport. I did have my DL and everything else. Fast forward to early February 2024...I just got my ammo from WC without any background check because the judge had struck down the dumb law. For how long...I don't know. I would advise people to order online and stock up on ammo while it's allowed.

The Ninth Circuit issued a stay yesterday. Freedom Weekend has already ended.

I'll bookmark this. I got denied ammo on Saturday
"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ Quiet

Does getting denied on an ammunition background check in California mean you have also lost the ability to lawfully purchase firearms?
