LA County Board of Supervisors Proposals

Good thing I moved out, looks like they are trying to mimic Glendale on restricting where you can't carry with a CCW.

The two immediate ordinances passed by the board of supervisors ban the sale of 50 caliber guns and ammunition in unincorporated county areas and prohibit anyone aside from law enforcement and active military from carrying a firearm on LA County property.
The second ordinance applies regardless of a valid concealed carry permit and specifies the ordinance applies to all LA County properties, including state beaches, parks and county owned buildings, whereas the first only applies to unincorporated areas of LA County.

Does anyone know the status of this?

Are there any updates on this? I checked LA County ordinances and didn't see any of the proposed changes. Was this all just for the media attention and nothing actually happened?

I will have to go back and look, but the last I had read, it was March or April, the Board asked the County's Attorney to draft a County Ordinance. I don;t think there has been an update since. I have a feeling the County's Attorney is probably setting on it, hoping it will go away, knowing there will be egg on their faces when it's found to be unconstitutional.
