    Finally some good news...

despite lots of rhetoric about keeping firearms out of the hands of criminals, law-abiding gun owners are the true intended targets of his campaigns.http://www.nydailynews.com/opinion/b...#ixzz30T3sn37m

Probably related to the head of MAIG/Everytown "resigning" yesterday: http://news.yahoo.com/head-leading-a...001729072.html

Finally some are realizing that any laws that are proposed in knee jerk responses to tragic shootings only affect law abiding citizens.
              ...
              It's not knee-jerk when it's anticipated.

But you gotta take it for what it's worth. The article is by S.E. Cupp. Don't get me wrong -- I support her and she isn't known to distort facts, but you have to know that anti's will see that it's written by her before even looking at the facts presented.

"Realizing they were misled" or realizing membership put their elected positions at risk? I think it would wrong to attribute a mayor's departure to some sort of altruistic motive rather than reading the political tea leaves. And there's a lesson in that for us too.

                        +1

With elections looming the far lefties and antis are going to shift to middle ground to gather as many votes as they can. The real showing of 2A support will be in December and beyond.

Well like most said, we'll take any good news. Hopefully we can have some push back here in CA. I know, I read some of the other posts of what pro 2A groups are doing here in CA. But still we need something, I feel like we need a tangible victory. Something that we have taken back whereas most of our "victories" are stopping more laws from going into effect.

                          I'll use this analogy:

In football, when the offense is in the red zone they applaud the defense for keeping the score limited to a field goal, that's considered a victory most of the time. But gosh darn it, we need to intercept that ball and score. Put some points on the board, not just limiting their score. Because honestly, they been beating us one field goal at a time.

Well I hope most of you get what I'm talking about.

If not, I say good day to you.

15% out of a pool of people willing to sign on to a gun control group... so; not bad.
