Everytown Ads And Why We Should Be Clicking On Them

Check out the Everytown for Gun Safety website:

We are a movement of nearly 11 million moms, mayors, survivors, students, and everyday Americans working to end gun violence.

    What's your opinion on it?
    What are its strengths?
    What are its weakness?

I think their website is very sleek and very professionally done. It is intuitive and easy to navigate. Their strength is, it doesn't allow for any input and is a strong propaganda machine. I haven't found a weakness as of yet. Maybe after some input we can get a better understanding as a whole.

They forgot to claim their facebook page before they launched. Not sure about twitter or other social media. So now there are everytown facebook pages popping up in all states.

    Launch fail.

Click the f on the top left hand side. It takes you to the facebook page they've been using before. Funny reading how many pro gun rights comments got posted on one of their newer postings. I think more people should blow it up with real facts.

          Know thy enemy...
Lota hyperbole and few facts. Thats my opinion after looking at it.

Severely mentally ill. [re: anyone whos ever asked for help right?]

Common sense gun laws. [incrementally banning private gun ownership right? Starting with guns that look scary, and/or that we can scare you about more, but are functionally not any different than other rifles]

Then we can get into why gun violence is the focus instead of violence itself. Orders of magnitude more people are murdered with hammers right now than with 'assault weapons'. Actually hardly anyone is hurt with 'assault weapons' so why all this bs over it? Oh yeah; side agenda to disarm the rabble to make it easier to control them... Sorry; I'll pass on the being disarmed and controlled. If you dislike guns; don't have one.

Everytown Ads And Why We Should Be Clicking On Them

I know a thing or two about pay per click ads and I'm seeing the Everytown ads a lot so I'm clicking on them like a SOB. Every time I click it costs Bloomber a penny. Now granted I'm only doing it once or twice a day but it's costing those scum money and that's what counts.

Just now when I logged on THR I saw a PPC ad of Everytown and I clicked on it. That makes three clicks just today. Pass word to your pro gunnies, tell them to take a spare minute a day to find an ad for it and click on it. Cost those scum every penny we can. If we don't they'll just have more money to spread their propaganda with and we can't have that. We need to organize and cost them money. Frustrate them at every turn. Use the internet in a way we can call make a difference.

Remember when you click on the ads your also adding hits to the site that they can then come back and say how many people are interested in their site. It may be a double edged sword.

Liberals, in general, tend to self destruct politically when they think everything is going their way (IMO).

I opened a thread a couple weeks ago on how liberals are actually writing down what they really think about things like collectivism again (vs. spinning it and not being clear). Because they think we are on the ropes so its safe.

So; in some ways making them think they are the mainstream (lots of hits) can be a double edged sword... to them.

                              Yes but... A click/hit doesn't necessarily "generate a sale".
If there are a million gun owners clicking on their site daily it would cost them a fortune but have no affect to their cause.

I say we go for it.
