so a billionaire wants to buy elections & eliminate our freedoms, based on his twisted religious views? is that the "bullet" version?

    we like this guy right?

is this the same billionaire that wants to take away our right to join unions, the billionaire that owns all the news media, or one of the billionaires that wants to interfere in women's private medical decisions?

or is this a new/different billionaire entirely?

lemme know soon, because I want to start parroting some talking points right away!.

      From the buzz fed article:
"Maybe they'd like to duel for it," said Mark Glaze, the executive director of Everytown for Gun Safety. "I hear very person on our staff of 85 is a better shot than Wayne LaPierre. Or maybe a bidding war!"
We're going through the proper process for transitioning our Demand Action page to 'Everytown,' which takes a few weeks, and acquiring trademark protection for both Everytown and Everytown for Gun Safety. When that happens, we expect Facebook to shoo these cybersquattters politely off this name/page."
They blew it. Should have had the TM and FB page before the launch. He sure getting his money worth.
The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.

So the pro-gun EFGS on Facebook is coming up on 6000 Likes in about 26 hours and pro-gun State chapters (EFGS-CA, EFGS-NV, EFGS-WA, etc.) are springing up and getting Likes. It may be short lived, but it's gaining momentum and wouldn't it be funny if the pro-gun EFGS page had more Likes than Bloomturd's EFGS page.

He wants to create an organization to take on the NRA? And its funded by his own 50 million? Money is nothing compared to what THE PEOPLE want. The NRA is 4 MILLION citizens strong, I cant wait to see how few people join Bloomberg's self funded personal vendetta organization reaches. A few thousand, maybe? He lost his last anti-gun push due to lack of support. Now he's giving it another run with his own 50 Million with hopes of better results. Know when you have lost Bloomberg.
And how IN THE WORLD does his have 50 Million to so easily throw around? If Bloomberg truly cared so much about "the people," then why hasn't he shared his wealth and campaigned for better paying jobs in America? This man is nothing short of an egotistical, self-entitled, big-brother DICTARTOR.

It's pretty much us against the world anyways right?
$50 million is chump change. We have been fighting the DNC, ABC, NBC, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, pretty much all of Hollywood, the UN, various anti 2nd Amendment groups, POTUS, foreign governments, on and on and on and on for decades and decades.

So this chump is special? LOL

And their members do not pay annual dues, an important point they nor their media cohorts ever point out when the gun grabber groups start crowing about their membership...The NRA is 4 MILLION dues paying citizens strong, now that's a dedicated membership Brady, Bloomturd and Watt could only wish for in their dreams...

If there really are 2 million households with unsecured firearms where children are present then we have a huge PR problem.

Actually some paid them in a lump cash for a lifetime or super life like I did all the way up to Benefactor. Pay in advance?

to motivate voters who feel strongly about curbing gun violence
What I don't get is why these groups don't focus on curbing violence in general? By constantly focusing on guns they make it obvious they're not really concerned about improving public safety......they're just using it as an excuse to try and ban guns.

                            Annual NRA membership = $35

Life membership $300 special on Calguns.net last year

Those who took this route basically pre-paid about 8.5 years ($300/$35) of NRA membership and got a life membership instead.

Same also for other "super life" special deals last year upgrading to Endowment, Patron, and Benefactor statuses. At the time, it was once you got the lifetime, you could also upgrade to Endowment for $250, Patron for $300, and $350 for Benefactor, in consecutive steps. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=899880

                            Total cost = $300 (life) + $250 (Endowment) + $300 (Patron) + $350 (Benefactor) = $1200
$1200 / $35 = pre-paid over 34 years of NRA annual membership fees to go all the way up to Benefactor status.

Some took this path because rather than paying $35 year after year, might as well see the deal to "pre-pay" your membership to NRA (especially at a deal of $300) and in return, get a life membership instead.

For a savy man with money.

Bloomberg seems too be throwing a lot of money in the drain.
