I wonder if she'll get the same treatment as the politician that forgot he had a gun in his carryon...

Oh, I'm sure she'll get much more scrutiny.

      Which is a shame.

You'll never be a TSA agent if you don't know the difference between a hand check and a freedom grope!

He is scheduled to play in Ramona, Calif., on Thursday night.

Whoa! This is practically in my back yard. Woulda been a fun show to see. Too bad the wife is probably still stuck in Texas

Guns are allowed in checked luggage, but not on planes.
                    Checked luggage goes where then....?

Might be fair to say he meant carry on.

As much as I love Ted Nugent (and his wife), he's not the person we need as the forerunner for gun rights. Crap like this only hurts our cause, because crap like this is what ends up on MSNBC.

Nobody watches MSLSD. Madcow, Chris Tingle and the rest of the neo-marxists there are losing close to 50% of their viewers every 12 months. They're just a pathetic bunch of sad clowns and nobody takes them seriously anymore.

Now when this woman does it she gets called all kinds of names, belittled, and she's the anti-christ? Some people think the fact that TSA has had this happen 1000 times this year is some kind of nightmarish scandal. I think it means that the overwhelmingly vast majority of these issues end up being a non-issue. Owning or carrying a firearm (a constitutionally protected right) does not make one a criminal. Just like carrying a condom does not mean you're going to have sex...it just mean's you're prepared in case you do. Why do so many people have such an irrational fear of guns? When we're in trouble, we want a cop like Clint Eastwood to show up with one, but for a citizen to have one makes them a "gun nut". A firearm is a tool and an inanimate object. It does not make someone a criminal or violent. Violent criminal behavior makes you a criminal. She screwed up, I'm sure there will be consequences, this whole thing is a bunch of drama.
It was not a threat. It was an exaggerated response to an uncompromising stance. I was taught never to make a threat unless you are prepared to carry it out and I am not a fan of carrying anything. Even watching other people carrying things makes me uncomfortable. Mainly because of the possibility they may ask me to help.
