Harvard study reveals gun control counterproductive

This is not new news to us, but the policy monkeys in Sacramento need to be beat into submission with this kind of information.

"The Harvard study attempts to answer the question of whether or not banning firearms would reduce murders and suicides. Researchers looked at crime data from several European countries and found that countries with HIGHER gun ownership often had LOWER murder rates."

Just a heads up Sacramento policy monkeys, the Second Amendment in now 2 for 2. Get a clue, guns aren't the problem.

Been posted a few hundred times already...not actually a Harvard study, just got some publicity in a conservative Harvard publication. The study is from a guy from UC Irvine and another from San Francisco (? don't remember exactly).

    Also, it's a six year-old study.

Not saying anything is wrong with the study (haven't read it in a while, don't really remember the details), but you don't want to cite it as if it's actually a Harvard study, and you don't want to cite it as if it's breaking news.

Take out all the democrat run cities with strict gun control and the United States stats improve greatly as well.

It's news to me, I didn't hear about it until someone posted it on Facebook.

What is now interesting is that two studies, done in California, substantiate that finding, and the newest study, commissioned by Obama further supports that finding, yet the policy monkeys continue to implement legislation that is for all intents and purposes contraindicated by those studies.

This is the kind of stuff that needs to be rammed down their throats until they choke on it.

Funny how government does not know anything of value when it comes to law making and reality.

Even more interesting, was Albert Einstein thinking of liberals when he defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results ?
