They refused to act on obvious election fraud.

Judge will grant plaintiff's and deny defendant's motions for summary judgement, but will hold off to allow the state to try and bargain a settlement before completely ending law.

            Volokh talking about it:
The laws require that “individuals purchase a handgun ... within 10 days of obtaining a permit to acquire” (Hawaii law requires such a permit) and that “individuals physically bring their firearm to the police department for in-person inspection and registration within five days of acquiring it.”

            Congrats wolfwood .

A stay is GRANTED for the injunction against the enforcement of the 10-day permit use period. A stay is DENIED for the injunction against the enforcement of the in-person inspection and registration requirement.

The point of this appeal escapes me entirely, other than the distinct possibility that the Ninth will reverse. Because it is the Ninth and can do whatever it wants.

Looks like the 9th panel did not reverse, but did take their time.

Kudos to Alan A. Beck, [wolfwood], and Stephen D. Stamboulieh. 😉

The sad clowns of the 9th circus will of course en banc this case as they do all 2A litigation.

And while the people wait, the law will of course continue to be enforced. The 9th will swoop in to rescue it somehow.
