The Supreme's today reversed and remanded Class so that he can present his case that being arrested for having a gun in his car in a gun free zone violates the 2A and due process. The DC circuit will now have to issue an opinion on gun free zones. Probably take at least a year or two before we get a decision.

The injured parties of the San Bernardino holiday party attack or some other such group. Would they have legal standing to get a Federal Injunction to stop labeling buildings and other areas as Gun Free Zones when in fact, no measurable steps are taken in these areas to ensure no guns are in fact present? The idea would be to remove any and all labels proclaiming an area gun free or prohibited unless each person entering said areas are actually physically searched and determined not to be carrying a weapon. Airports, Courts and many other venues do this. The burden would be less than the burden of victims of attacks who thought they were safe because of a nonsensical sign.

president Trump just compiled with the request to eliminate school gun free zones.
calling them a magnet for murder or something similar .

CNN quoted Trump saying, “Gun-free zone to a maniac—because they’re all cowards—a gun-free zone is ‘let’s go in and let’s attack because bullets aren’t coming back at us.'” He said adopting a policy where “20 percent” of teachers were armed would reduce or eliminate the perception of weakness, making schools a riskier target to strike.

Gun free zones need to be totally eliminated unless the zone is in a place that has its own security staff and everyone is searched before entering.

NO, NO, NO. I think we should encourage Hollywood, airlines, restaurants, nighttime talk shows and those boycotting the NRA and are anti 2a to strongly publicize that their areas are completely "Gun Free Zones". Put GFZ signs up everywhere.

My wife is a teacher and I got a chance to speak to the principal. He was very proud of the gun free zone signs. I asked him what if a crazy guy walks in with a gun, since it's a gun free zone all the good people would be unarmed. His reply was that the gun free zone goes for both the good and bad guy, there's no discrimination..... I was going to reply to that or bring up examples of recent school shootings but he seemed aggravated I even questioned the gun free zone signs and my wife works there so I didn't want to cause drama, so I just said ok.
