    Sometimes, courts can be direct

    Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

    Let's hope we see these types of statements in pro-2A rulings...

      They missed the perfect opportunity. At the end they should have added 1 more sentence;

      "And, we REALLY mean it this time."
      Some random thoughts:

      Somebody's gotta be the mole so it might as well be me. Seems to be working so far.

      Evil doesn't only come in black.

      Life is like a discount bakery. Usually everything is just what you ordered. But, occasionally you come face to face with an unexpected fruitcake. Surprise!

        I don't think I've ever read a court ruling of any kind with that sort of clear language combined with a hint of poetic disgust for the actions of the lower court. If only we could have him in the 9th Circuit!
        I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

          There was one years ago when the Ninth was trying desperately to avoid the death penalty in Kommiefornia and the U.S. Supreme Court responded to a last minute/ditch appeal (which came after several successive denied appeals) with "No means no."
