No NICS fix! We have fought hard to get our Constitutional 2A rights in AZ and resent other states that are willing to compromise our rights because they didn't fight hard enough for their own. If it means no national reciprocity, so be it. Not at our expense.

The Republicans know that they will lose the house, the senate and the white house if they pass more laws without reciprocity.

Well I guess 17 kids were a worthy sacrifice for the dems to kill reciprocity!

That's it. After Trump's remarks, the House bill will not get a vote in the Senate, and reciprocity is officially dead for this session. Reciprocity will not pass on its own over a Democratic Party filibuster.

All because we have to do "something."

How about, if you don't add fix nics to concealed carry, then concealed carry will never pass. Its call compromise for a reason, everyone gets something and gives up something.

"Trump urges Republicans to pass concealed carry reciprocity as standalone bill"

President Trump told Republicans on Wednesday they should not include a measure that allows people with concealed carry permits in one state to carry across state lines in a comprehensive gun bill.

“I think that maybe that bill will one day pass, but it should pass separate,” Trump said during a bipartisan meeting at the White House. “If you’re going to put concealed carry between states into this bill, we’re talking about a whole new ball game. I’m with you, but let it be a separate bill.”

    Reciprocity? That's really funny.

Actually, reciprocity that doesn't allow CA residents to carry in CA with UT license is what would get challenged in courts and it would be an easy win on 10A grounds. If you believe that there is a way to kill reciprocity via courts after it's been established via legislation I have a bridge to sell you.
