    Everytown Collapsing?

    Just saw this:

. Everytown volunteers like me are now leaving the organization in droves, disgusted that our leadership would partner with an organization that has been a steadfast ally of the National Rifle Association and defender of racially-motivated police brutality. For too long, gun control groups like Everytown have implemented top-down organizational models that treat gun violence prevention advocates like servants and gun violence survivors like fundraising fodder, giving us little or no say in our own advocacy. That must end now.
Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)

Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Why join everytown/MAGs? The woman in the article had a bad experience, an ex husband gone mad who assaulted her family with a gun. I think antis and us pro 2A people can agree that shouldn't have happened. The thing I have a hard time wrapping my head around is why they want responsible gun owners, the vast majority, to be disarmed and unable to protect their own families.

If you get bit by a pitbull and you don't like dogs from there on out, ok, I get it, but then you go lobby to stop everyone in America from owning pets... wtf why. Can anyone explain this mentality? (Inb4 liberals, stupidity, they need Jesus, etc)

          Simple.
Gun control is not about crime. Never has been. It's about control.......Total control!

          Take care

If every single "volunteer" quit it would be inconsequential, as their numbers are at most in the several thousands, while Bloomberg is the "real" organization, and he has literally billions to maintain the appearance that such an organization exists, rather than the total astroturf that it really is.

I think it's awesome that the members of Everytown are learning the truth; that they are nothing but "useful idiots" and fund raising shills for a group that doesn't care about them one bit except that they can donate money and time to "the cause". Everytown is just one more corrupt money machine for Democrats to stay in power. The Everytown leadership all know gun laws do nothing but harass gun owners and raise them money and publicity for the leftist base.

I'll second the 'Useful Idiots' line

People that join various Social Justice movements are nothing more than Hive Insects. They exist merely to pay homage to and insure that someone better than them remains in power.

Another story could have been told:

"The issue is a personal one for me because I am a survivor of gun-related domestic violence. In 2012, my estranged husband attacked me at my home when our young son and my father were present. He attempted to force his way in through the front door, and when that proved unsuccessful, he opened fire. As a Life Member of the NRA, I retrieved my personal defense weapon and shot the SOB dead as he crossed the threshold. My father and I were each shot twice and injured. Thankfully, my son emerged (physically, but not emotionally) unscathed."

                        Choices...always choices....

Let me get this straight - she doesn't feel empowered because she thinks her organization isn't doing enough to forcibly make us give up our right of self-defense? Right ... got it.
And because Everytown happens to support the FOP (a good thing, I would think) who, in turn, happen to support the NRA, she can't support Everytown. What would she advocate, anarchy? By her logic, all conservatives should dump Amazon, Facebook, Google and all the rest because they not only support the left, they actively support it through their heavyhanded policies (hey, not a bad idea!)
She is still misguided as ever.
