Very cool !! To me it looks to be a Smith & Wesson J frame 38 special revolver that has a ported barrel (it looks like a Mag-na-port trapezoidal shape design).

Because his hand is covering it in that photo I don't know if it's a Smith & Wesson 642, fully concealed hammer in a silver, (these are made with an alloy frame so it's not stainless steel) finish
or possibly a Smith & Wesson model 638 with a shrouded hammer, also in a silver finish.

I guess there's even a chance that it could be one of their earlier titanium material designs.

Its too bad you were not in attendance at that event. Im certain either Roy or his non victim wife would have happily discussed the revolver in question and that being FREE STATE ALABAMA they would have told you bullet weight and it sectional density .
Personally Im thinking they choose the new Ruger ARX slug for their defense uses!
