"Christie steps up gun rhetoric as he conditionally vetoes two bills" (Politico)

Since the antis couldn't snooker the politicians into their claims regarding firearms like the Armitrix .22, they are back at it again, going fro broke:

"One of the bills (S816) would have required gun retailers to stock "smart guns," that incorporate technology allowing only the gun owner or authorized user to fire the weapon"

    And:

"The "smart gun" bill is the outgrowth of a law that has been on the books since 2002 which requires the use of smart gun technology in all guns sold in state. The new bill altered that law, instead requiring retailers simply to stock the "smart guns.""

Since they figured out that they couldn't get the WHOLE pie, they are going for half of it now ("This bill repeals sections of law prohibiting the sale of all handguns after personalized handguns are available for retail purposes") and will no doubt 'update' the legislation later to what they REALLY want which is a ban on ALL handguns (and long guns too?) which are NOT 'personalized'.

We really need to appreciate the lenghts one democrat party lapdog (politico) goes to in order to confuse the issue!
I mean honestly"steps up rhetoric" in the headlines ! How flat out stupid and misleading!

I listen to NRANEW.COM and frequenly hear Scott Bach, who had the only accuarate comment in this garbage piece.
"“Governor Christie has made a bold and defiant statement to the legislature in support of the Second Amendment," Scott L. Bach, the group's executive director, said in a statement. "Not only has he rejected their medieval schemes to block self-defense, but he has fired back in a way that forces them to choose squarely between citizen empowerment or victimization in the post-Orlando era of terror attacks on U.S. soil."

Its suggested Politico not be followed on fake-book, twittier or whatever else people find to amuse themselves.
