I am not sure what to make of this. Apparently government officials on the east coast held a teleconference last week discussing how to leverage local LE agencies and the clergy to perform large-scale gun confiscation. States involved were New York, Massachusetts, Virginia and one other.
Instead of being a closed conference requiring attendees to login, it was inadvertently (or not) left as an open stream that anyone on the gov networks could access. The conversation was referring to the local agencies as pawns that could be used to carry our the dirty work. Supposedly, this was recorded by some LEOs and is now being shared among themselves.
A radio host commented on this on his show. Audio is at the link, this subject begins at about the 20 minute mark.
Of course, it is difficult to know if it is legitimate without hearing the actual conference audio, but if true sounds like some real shady business.
