Renewed today. Paid by PayPal. Felt good to use PayPal for this purpose, since they are so anti gun. It was like a big FU to PayPal.

PS- what ever happened to the National Buy a gun day idea that some were proposing on here? IIRC it was going to be on 2/23 or Obama's birthday in August. The search function seems to be crapping out when I try to find the thread. I'm in, regardless of which day it is (I need a new Beretta ). Maybe both...

Conversation came up about new gun laws and what I thought. While a man and I had a quit conversation about how it didn't look like gun control over the years seemed to work a woman over heard and belted out, "but what do you think about people having those assault weapons" so I responded, well "I have seven of them" (yes I know some of them are not technically AWs, but they are still AR AK type) and she sure shut up fast. It was kind of funny. But a little later I came up to her and said that in no way did I mean to make her feel uncomfortable and that I was just stating a fact.

For what it's worth, I'm a progressive fellow. Especially socially and I'm against all the bull**** wars the right seems to want (my brother in law died in one!) but I did just join the NRA.
