FBI Director doesnt know how internet gun sales work

Obama appointee really understands gun regulations, at the most basic level

The head of the FBI doesn't know how Internet gun sales work.

I bet the EPA Director thinks he can buy plutonium on Amazon. Because, well, you know, why would someone in that position have any real knowledge on the issues they are supposed to oversee.

        Meh.

He's the Director of the FBI. It's not his job to know, he's got people for that.

The Director of the ATF would likely know, but even if he didn't I wouldn't get worked up about it...he's got people for that too.

        Nothing to see here...move along.

And making, or advising on the making of policy.

This is where "the should thing that goes up" bans come from

To be honest, I never look down or mock someone who doesn't understand current gun laws, because most of them make no sense, are completely counter-intuitive, differ from state to state, and even most of us here get things mixed up.

It's not excusable when the law is your job. That's excusing a doctor for not knowing anatomy because the human body is complex and confusing.

                        NO.

With ALL the gun talk going on in this country, it is inexcusable to know something as simple as this. "Yes, some classifications of guns can be mailed to the home, assuming the recipient is an FFL. If the recipient is not an FFL, the gun must ship to an FFL before it can be sold to an unlicensed citizen."

lol, what do you expect from an incompetent administration that can't even stand up a working website after spending billions of dollars?
Most of these people at or near the top are putting on a show, faking confidence and knowledge. This jaghole deputy AG from Maryland is just another example of how the leftist elites think and act when they think the public is not watching:

Why would you expect him to be any more knowledgeable than the congress critter's who make the laws. Most of them don't know either. Also don't forget he has never been a working federal agent, he is an attorney, first in private practice then working in the U.S. Attorney's office. Besides with the inter-agency noncooperation that the FBI and ATF are so good at it's not too surprising.
