I blame the stupid voters .
California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.

In a statement, Obama said the gunman used an assault weapon, "terrorizing an entire community" and killing a police officer and two people he had sought to protect.

          ----------------------------------------------

Of course Obama jumped up to exploit this shooting, with his 'weapons of war' B.S.

But so far I can't find any authoritative report on exactly what kind of rifle Robert Dear used. Does anyone know? Have a link to a story? Please post.

It will be interesting because Obama needs to do something and I wonder if he will try to use an executive order to "write law" and see if he can get away with it. He might, even knowing the federal courts will reverse whatever he tries to do and shove it up his rear quarters.

            Why?

Because then he will be able to claim the dems are TRYING to make you safer but the GOP congress and the courts blocked him from saving you from gun violence. That will give them the advantage in the next election.

It's all politics, it's all about looking like he is on the right side of the issue. And don't forget, the average voter is as dumb as a bag of rocks and has the attention span of a gnat.

I hate Obama, but don't hang Bush's catastrophic blunder on him. The Iraq mess was lost the minute we went in there.

We should've started engaging ISIS while we still had our forces in Iraq. We had boots on ground in Iraq and had effective coordination with Iraqi forces. One more option is to drop remaining ordnance on ISIS on the way to relocate to Incirlik.

One has to deal with the "situation on the ground" regardless of why the situation is what it is. Competence is the ability to make the best of the situation. Obama did exactly the opposite so it is *his actions* that made the situation worse. Hence "incompetence."

Whether Bush or Hillary created the mess (the "legislator" vs "executive" responsibility for passing a law that forced the action) has no bearing on how Obama *chose* to deal with the *existing* situation. It is clear that he approached a difficult problem (mess in the Middle East) from the ideological point of view (pacifism) and the measurable consequence was that the situation got much worse.

So, the main thing that I'd "blame" Bush when it comes to Obama's response is that some of the Bush's actions exposed Obama as incompetent commander in chief. Another is that some of the Bush's actions showed the world what happens when one attempts to use pacifism against a foe that wants to fight. The effectiveness is right there with the "sad face + hashtag" shaming.

The famous "what's your solution" dodge that provides excuse for incompetence by using rhetoric against other courses of action that were never taken.

My solution is that Obama gets all the warnings from the political opposition, uses his resources to come up with a solution he believes is the best, implements the "solution" and we observe the results.

If the result is not what Obama predicted it would be, but is instead what the political opposition predicted to be, it's time to eat crow. So, at this time my solution is: "Obama eats crow while meanies like myself cheer and take selfies."

The current and any future administration need to accept the fact that we are at war with jihadist. They declared war on us. Also the Quran way to win is to lie and deceit to gain advantage. This administration is trying to reason with an enemy that is unreasonable and will do anything to destroy our way of life. Obama tried to charm them by preaching Islam and exiting out of the AOR. Didn't get us anywhere at all, in fact we are in an operation with Russia swinging a bigger stick.

Read Albert Pikes statement on the three world wars. The readers digest version is they want Islam, Christianity, and Judaism to fight each other until the world is sick of religion.

This is why they are importing muslims.

Sadly most on here will vote for a person who says he can do something, even though they have little to no power to do what they keep promising.

All this fear mongering has done is caused the raising of prices on guns and ammo. I thought you would have learned from the previous 7 years of Obama. You all screwed yourselves.
