    Helping friend who inherited guns

A friend of mine has inherited some guns and wants to know what exactly they need to do to make sure everything is legal for them to inherit, and then sell the guns. Anyone know the appropriate forms needed. I know the ppt part after she has them in her possession. Thanks!

Lots of info missing. Inheritance, bequest, gift, interstate, intrastate.

I recently helped a friend with a similar situation. What it came down to was that it was easier for them to have me set up a PPT and for them to meet the buyer at the LGS, vs them selling them all to me then me selling them myself (there were so many, and lots were junk). The ones that didn't sell were either sold to me or put on consignment later.

I was going to say there's a CalGuns wiki on this (which is great and I've looked at for reference in my law practice). If she has a good trust and estates lawyer, they will be able to help. If you're near the Bay Area, I'm happy to assist if need be.
