Question on Shipping a Vintage 1911

If I buy a WWII Colt 1911 within California and have it shipped to my FFL, will this have to be SSE'd at the FFL? or just DROSed with the 1/30 limit?
If the US 1st amendment were treated like the 2nd amendment by US politicians, we will need a license to speak in public, need a background check to buy a book, and can only buy one every 30 days. They say the pen is mightier than the sword, yet the sword is the most regulated part of the constitution.

If the gun was manufactured more than 50 years ago it is exempt from the Roster, so conversion to a single shot wouldn't be necessary.
"It is long been a principle of ours that one is no more armed because he has possession of a firearm than he is a musician because he owns a piano. There is no point in having a gun if you are not capable of using it skillfully." -- Jeff Cooper

Since the handgun is more than 50 years old, it is a C&R handgun.

C&R handguns are exempt from CA unsafe handgun laws.

Therefore, a CA FFL dealer can transfer it to you without any modifications.

Since it's not a PPT and it's being shipped, the 1 in 30 day wait applies.
