PPT Question regarding shipping and sales tax

    Hello,

I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere - I couldn't find the answer.

If I purchase a handgun and travel to make the purchase (i.e., I meet with the seller at an FFL in his town), is it legal to have the FFL ship the handgun to my local FFL after the 10 day period, so I don't have to make two trips out of town? And, if so, would this type of transaction be subject to CA sales tax for any reason.

    Thanks so much!
Individual rights are not subject to a public vote; a majority has no right to vote away the rights of a minority; the political function of rights is precisely to protect minorities from oppression by majorities (and the smallest minority on earth is the individual).

I don't think that would work, as there are documents that have to be signed at the FFL doing the transfer, after the 10 day wait.

      I might be wrong.
