    Person to person rifle sales?

If I bought a rifle from a store (I know it's best to do a p2p transfer in a gun store) can I just sell it to a friend?

Yes I know this wouldn't be the wisest choice seeing how it was last registered to me etc. but under the idea/concepts of states like AZ that don't require anything P2P.

So that's my straight question. Is it legal to sell my rifle to a friend? Or is paper work required?

(I can already feel the haters and ball beakers ready to flame me...)

    No.

Inside CA, CA law requires using a CA FFL.

Going outside CA, Federal law requires using an FFL when the gun is owned by a person who lives in one state to a person who lives in a different state.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
