Legal issues? Shouldn't be since it seems like your run of the mill 16" upper receiver. Issues with it being Ares and a pre-order, well, you can update this if you ever receive it

Given my fellow Calgunners skepticism I thought I should reply.

I ordered this on 6/19/14 and received it on 7/7/14.

Have not shot it yet but the finish is awesome and it went on my S&W lower half like butter.
