    Need A Good 2A Attorney

    Hello Folks,
Got myself into a pickle of some sorts and would need a good firearms attorney. I've scoured the internet and it seems like Jason Davis is top notch. I tried to contact him a couple of times one wk before Christmas, called again today but no answer. Is it common not to hear for that long? He must be busy or on break considering the holidays.

I contacted him once in October, it only took him a couple of days to respond by phone.

I've also contacted Bruce Colodny, but don't see a lot of endorsements for him. Any opinions on him?

If I'm not able to get the services of Jason, who would be your 2nd pick?

I'd really appreciate your input in the matter. Would need good legal representation to move my case in January.

Btw, looking for someone in LA or orange county.

    Thanks in advance!

Jason Davis is very highly regarded. Bruce Colodny has been around for a long time, but I don't have much information about him.

I think that you should also look at Michel and Associates. They're in Long Beach.

There's a bit of a "Catch-22" in your posting. Attorneys tend to have mastery of a particular subject area. All lawyers are not alike. You really want to retain a lawyer that is master in the area of your problem. But at the same time, it's very ill-advised to discuss the details of your problem in a public forum.

Most good lawyers will offer a consultation, and where the lawyer-client privilege applies. A really good lawyer will be able to refer you to a master after hearing the details of your case.
If you build a man a fire, you'll keep him warm for the evening. If you set a man on fire, you'll keep him warm for the rest of his life.

Rick, you are again correct. It is a bad idea to discuss your legal problems on a public forum where the attorney client privilege will not apply. So for, the OP has not described the nature of his legal problem, which is good. I agree that in the LA area, Michel and Associates would be my recommendation. However, if the OP would like to speak with me, I would do so as a no cost initial consultation. He would just need to PM me without discussing the facts of his case and only providing contact information. I am also on caguns if calguns is acting up. Right now I am focusing on ccw denials and finishing up on a couple of civil cases for long time clients.
