    30 day limit

    was getting ready to buy a kimber ultra carry when i recieved news that i had won the CRPA raffle, a glock 17. My question is since i didn't buy the Glock, can i still buy the Kimber before the 30 days is up? Going to do the paperwork for the glock tommorrow and should have it in 10 days after

    Congrats and IIRC the 30 day limit does not affect private party transfers.

      Whenever I’ve seen raffles they’re new guns and not some guys gun being raffled off so don’t know what private party has to do with it as stated above. 30 days applies.

        I am unclear that a gun org gun like this is a PPT. It may be a dealer
        'donation credit' and thus its sale may be like purchasing a gun with $0
        price. As such it might cut into your 30 day limit.

        Please talk to the associated dealer who is handling the transaction (if
        this is similar to FNRA dinner guns, there is a local dealer handling the
        guns for the event).

            The answer is, 1-30 is applicable. He can’t transfer both it?s a dealer transfer
