    CA Legal AR15 Configuration .

Forgive me if this is already posted somewhere I looked and looked and did not see it.
What is the current law on ar15 configurations?
If I remember correctly an ar15 could have "Evil" Features if it had a locking magazine? "bulletbutton"?
and A Featureless AR could have A normal Magazine release ?
Is this still the case ? or has something changed ?

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Bulletbutton - only if it was registered. But all of this is expected to change when Judge Benitez rules on the CA AW ban.
