    Ammunition??

I have this co worker who insists that there is a law in CA that basically says if you don't have a firearm in caliber XXX that is registered to you then you ant buy that ammunition. I cant find anything about it and he has n actual proof. Is there any truth to this?
    Thanks

Total FUD, as long as your have any caliber firearm registered to you, you can buy any caliber. If you only have a 12 gauge shotgun in your name, you can still buy 9mm or any other caliber.
