How to PRAR Dangerous Weapons Permit holders?

I requested from the CA DOJ for an application of a Dangerous Weapons Permit holder and any records indicating approval of a permit.
It shows below the exact request.

    Here was their response,

Does anyone have anyone know a document which can be requests that doesn't trigger this response ? Or a method of find if someone has one of these permits ?

Contacting CA DOJ BOF to verify that a specific CA FFL has a valid Dangerous Weapons Permit.
^This is done in order to conduct business (the transfer of dangerous weapons) with that specific CA FFL.

      Government Code 6254
Except as provided in Sections 6254.7 and 6254.13, this chapter does not require the disclosure of any of the following records:
      (k) Records, the disclosure of which is exempted or prohibited pursuant to federal or state law, including, but not limited to, provisions of the Evidence Code relating to privilege.

      Government Code 6255
      (a) The agency shall justify withholding any record by demonstrating that the record in question is exempt under express provisions of this chapter or that on the facts of the particular case the public interest served by not disclosing the record clearly outweighs the public interest served by disclosure of the record.
      (b) A response to a written request for inspection or copies of public records that includes a determination that the request is denied, in whole or in part, shall be in writing.

I have actually seen such a permit, in person. It was in the possession of an individual at a private shooting venue, here in California. As this was a few years ago (3?), I don’t recall all the details of what it displayed, but I do recall a symbol on it. The individual in possession was using a suppressed MP5K.
