Too obtuse of a question.
If you are having problems, proactively call the PD and chat with the watch commander. Your address will have a history associated with it and your phone numbers.
It all depends on what and how she says it....
I’m afraid he killed himself and he has guns everywhere
Or
I can reach him on the phone
Or I can’t reach him on phone, what’s app and he deleted me off of social media.Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
(thanks to Jeff Cooper) -
I do not know about this situation, but a few years ago my grandmother had her phone off the hook for several hours and I called the police and they did a welfare check. She was fine. Just didn't hang up all the way.WARNING: This post will most likely contain statements that are offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense, and or maturity.

Yesterday, the California State Supreme Court issued a decision that significantly restricted the ability of LEOs to conduct non-consensual entries and searches under the "Community Caretaker" doctrine.

It used to be that if the PD/SO got a call to welfare check on a person the LEO had to come out to the place and communicate with the subject/person before they could leave. If no response the LEO could come in by any means necessary. Exigent circumstances over ride permissions.
Once the LEO is in the house they can look around until contact is made and if anything else is in the house is suspicious looking it is fair game. Not a search, but open view kinda stuff. Smells too.
If that changed then that's great.Comment
