30314. (a) Commencing January 1, 2018, a resident of this state shall not bring or transport into this state any ammunition that he or she purchased or otherwise obtained from outside of this state unless he or she first has that ammunition delivered to a licensed ammunition vendor for delivery to that resident pursuant to the procedures set forth in Section 30312.
I'm not too sure what is complicated here. A resident of this state, is pretty self explanatory. -
Bring in your ammo and shoot the pc posted above has nothing to do with non residents.Comment

Yes.
It is CA legal for a non-resident to import ammunition into CA, as long as:
1. The ammunition is not prohibited (explosive, incendiary, tracer, flechette, handgun AP).
2. The ammunition is for personal use.
3. Any transfer of ownership of ammunition is done through a CA DOJ licensed ammunition vendor or an exemption is utilized.Last edited by Quiet; 11-30-2018, 9:12 PM.sigpic
