I don't really think we'll all be convinced based on this shaky interpretation but I find it interesting how fast and the scale at which the bullet button was adopted. How popular did they become before there was a ruling legitimizing their use?
If you google the product, almost every manufacturer calls it a release not a catch. CADOJ will be happy to use that interpretation.

If you want to use a compliance device with more flexibility, look at the raddlock or BB convertible.

Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)

I'll have to agree on both counts with cocked and sousuke, it seems like both the term the part is commonly referred to as a release mechanism definitely pokes holes in this. The fact alteration is on there as well kind of sucks. Otherwise wouldn't doing something such as gluing on a hook onto the existing mag catch.

I thought I'd mention as a fellow lefty, if you shoot with gloves you can activate the catch with a rare earth magnet stuffed down the finger of your glove.

Didn't thordsen make a kit that was an ambi BB add on kit? Not sure if those are still available.
Yes we did. The new AW laws killed it. Didn't even break even on the cost of the patent.

Different take - what about adding an AR magwell adapter to an BBRAW AK? Technically you didn't touch/modify the original bullet-button at all. Still need to use a tool to eject the magwell, but magwell has its own release?

So i'm guessing that a PCC mag well insert is in the same territory even though the BB will not be touched?

              Case in point:

Convert your standard mil spec AR 15, M4, M16 lower assembly to use 9mm and .40 S&W Glock Magazines!  The Mag-AD series adapters install in seconds.  Boasti...
