    Importing a Glock 43?

I purchased a Glock 43 as a current Maine resident that I'd like to take with me (or ship) when I relocate to California this fall.

I know CA's got lots of onerous gun laws, and I want to do this legally. How best to do this?

U can have threaded barrel on pistols. But the the magazine has to be fixed. So basically a single shot pistol.

Basically u have 60 days to register your pistol. Get the form and fill it out and mail it. There's like a 15 or 25 fee.

Only up to 10rd mags allowed. If your pistols have a threaded barrel, than the magazine has to be fixed. Basically turning your semi auto pistol into a single shot.

I suggest buy as much what stupid California politician call "off roster pistols" as you can. They call that cause it's not been approved by Cali and now pistols need micro stamping. Which doesn't exist. Can't believe something that there is no tech for or it won't make a difference passes here on Cali.

Buy Cz, another 43 and 42. Gen 5 glock, HK, sigs etc etc.

Think of it as an investment. If u feel like u don't care for some of the pistols later, u can sell it on calguns market place.

      It will fetch premium prices.

Sorry, I should have specified semi auto pistols that have a detachable magazine in the grip.

Thanks all for your replies. You've convinced me to buy a G19 gen5 too. Is there a limit to the number of high capacity mags I can import with the G19?

Yes.... zero, unless you’re exempt to own & use them in CA like LE.

Can only import 10rd mags (standard or permanently converted) with the G19, VP9, and whatever handguns that don’t fall under the AW rules listed above, into CA.
