    Bullet button or not

can't keep up with all the changes:

Does a featureless or fixed mag AR need a BB or can you use a normal mag release button?

The fixed mag is a Franklin DFM which can only be removed when the upper is opened. No MagLock used.

    Thanks

Standard Magazine release is good. Just make sure you don't remove the magazine while out of state and forget to put it back in when returning.
The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.

Don't EVER remove the magazine and forget to put it back in. This becomes "manufacturing an assault weapon" as we apparently saw in the valley farmer's case where the DOJ agent opened the gun, removed the DFM mag and closed it up again. He then put a regular mag in and used the standard mag release to release the mag and then declared it an AW.

I actually added the 63 cent allen screw mod (can't find the thread) to my DFM equipped guns so that the "DOJ agent manufacturing an assault weapon thing" can not happen during transport and storage. Easy enough to back the screw out for shooting and then screwing it back in for transport and storage.

That was mshill's very elegant and cost effective solution.

        Thanks mshill!
