You're screwed. Maybe one day you'll get the help you need but I doubt it. The sad truth is it's really hard to overcome a bad situation growing up and you already have 4 trips to the loony bin before 17. Our prisons are full of people with similar stories. You already sound like a 36 year old sociopath. Seriously good luck. Get help, sounds like your life is a mess maybe no fault of your own but it is your problem because it is your life. So drop the silly tough guy attitude and go see a therapist find out what you can do to prevent these negative occurences in your life before they destroy you and back you into a corner. And dont start drinking are doing drugs, thats just going to make it worse.

You got a lot of stuff you need to take care of before even thinking of possessing a firearm.

@lightcav Lul I never asked for a response you felt entitled to write that soooo. from start to finish this has been negative. btw if you read I have confirmed it is a 5585 and not a 5150 or 5250 I was 16.2 at the time. My "Family lawyer is also familiar with these cases". Btw those aren't opinions if you're telling me what's going to happen. Those are statements.... So suck maybe go suck a fat one. I believe you are currently 17.5 years old. If so here's a couple of random thoughts.

1. Without actually reading the government documents no one here can really answer your questions.

2. When you turn 18 send in that form linked above. I notice the form does not ask you any questions about your record. Don't add any info and confuse the worker that processes it. If it comes back clean. You are good to go and if not get an Atty. to help you change your status.

3. If your home life is toxic. Get out of there legally. Maybe join the service or Peace Corp.

He sounds too disturbed to be a troll. Also he's getting upset easily which reinforces his story about violent behavior. The kid obviously has some issues, hopefully he does something about it instead of getting angry at the world.
